Aminopropylsilane Coated SubstratesStandard Coatings for High Density Arrays
Erie Scientific is excited to introduce SuperChip HDa new surface chemistry that allows for additional content per slide. The HD surface is comprised of the same amine functional groups as our standard APS chemistry, but it is highly hydrophobic and thereby produces smaller spot size. Smaller spots mean you can reduce spot-to-spot distance and create space for additional content.
Additional content will decrease the total quantity of slides needed, reduce the slide-to-slide variability factor, and result in lower cost for both slides and processing chemicals. Additionally, SuperChip HD exhibits improved morphology, which facilitates grid alignment when analyzing the array image.
SuperChip HD APS
Demonstrates smaller spots while maintaining the same high signal intensity as our standard APS substrate.
ERIE SuperChip HD APS
Demonstrates smaller spots and excellent morphology while maintaining the same high signal intensity as our standard APS substrate.
ERIE SuperChip APS Excellent signal intensity with normal spot size.
Competitor 2 APS
Poor morphology with variable spot size
Competitor 1 APS
Poor morphology with variable spot size
Packaging
All slides are pre-packaged in a secure, no-contactmBox, then vacuum-sealed in a foil barrier bag prior to shipping. Each package contains 20 slides/mBox. To learn more about mBox and other integrated accessories, visit our Slide Handling Accessories page.
